#19 Another Letter Series

first off I would like to officially add this to the rules via this post
I would ask that if you have heard a riddle before, or some version of it or
even saw it on the internet, then I would ask you to please refrain from posting the answer,
simply post that you have heard the answer before, and then contact me with the correct answer (preferably soon after) and then perhaps I will make a point system involving such a phenomena, but I try to keep the riddle variety vast and I don't think that will happen much
with out further to do. . . the riddle

What letter is missing from this sequence:

A A A A ?A A A A A A

hint #1 "alphabets"
hint #2 "ancient"
the unpresidented hint #3 "GREEK"

just to let you know the answer is not "A" I repeat Not "A"
