#1 Bridge and the Lady

During WWII, there was a bridge connecting Germany and Switzerland, and on the German side, there was a sentry tower with a guard in it. He would come out every three minutes to check on the bridge, and he had orders to turn back anyone who tried to get into Germany, and shoot anyone trying to escape without a pass. There was a woman who desperately needed to get into Switzerland, and she knew she didn't have time to get a pass. It would take her at least six minutes to cross the bridge, but she managed to do it. How?

creative, but the point here is to make it across without: A. dieing or B. breaking the law or anything of that sort

If I read it correctly, the guard was keeping people from getting into Germany? She was trying to get from Germany to Switzerland? So therefore, he had no reason to stop her.

That seemed to simple so is probably completely wrong. But then it is Friday night and I am answering my brother's blog so...this is sad...=(

wouldn't crossing the bridge be breaking the law in the first place? i mean really, if you're going to illegaly cross a bridge you might as well murder the gaurd.

I must say something, the points, if there will be any for this question, will go to Studly. he solved the riddle at school and informed me of his inability to post, which will be put in the rules soon, but I think because rules were not posted and there was too much controversy over this, I might not award points, but if any are to be awarded they will be to Studly
